When the automobile spring in the vehicle is impacted by the load, it will extend, causing the temperature on the surface of the spring to rise, causing strain on the surface, showing fine cracks; When the frequency of load impact increases, the friction force generated by stretching motion will increase, reaching the fatigue limit where the stress is concentrated, resulting in the phenomenon of single or whole stack fracture. So, how to take measures to prevent the early damage of automobile springs?
① When the riding bolt or the center bolt of the automobile spring is loose, the load of the main leaf spring will increase, resulting in early spring damage. Therefore, in the usual maintenance process, we should pay attention to the firmness of the riding bolt and the center bolt, and replace them in time if any damage is found.
② When the vehicle is driving at a high speed, especially on the road with poor road conditions, the deformation range of the automobile spring will increase, and with the increase of frequency, the spring will be damaged due to accelerated fatigue.
(3) When the vehicle is turning, because the speed is too high, it will produce great centrifugal force, which will greatly increase the load of the car spring and lead to the accelerated damage of the leaf spring (computer spring machine). In order to prolong the service life of automobile steel springs and improve economic benefits, we should pay attention to proper deceleration when turning.
(4) The automobile spring (CNC spring machine) is designed according to the rated load of the vehicle, which often runs under overload or unbalanced load. In the work, the spring will produce excessive bending stress, which greatly reduces the fatigue strength of the leaf spring and causes the early damage of the automobile spring. Therefore, vehicles should try to avoid overloading or unbalanced loading in daily driving.
